Treasurer of Boston Locomotive Works. Diaries and commonplace-books of Child, Hannah R. Child, Isaac Child of Boston and Argyle, Me., and Mary D. (Guild) Child. Daniel and Mary kept a diary together from 1839 until Mary's death in 1861. Most of the diaries are indexed. The collection also includes a small number of loose manuscripts and printed items.
